Power Pack:Ghost Hunters

Power Pack is a group of four 12-year-olds, three are girls called Ashikin (nickname: Sora), Rui Yun (nickname: Kai), Amirah (nickname: Riku) and Levia (nickname: Hana) and a boy called Barry (nickname: Ryu). They have been classmates for one and a half year and are best friends. Power Pack is a group of ghost-hunting and ghost-busting children who are freakin' brave. The story of Power Pack is all here:

Sora and Kai have been friends for a long time and despite being closed to each other, they also always hang out with each other. Last year (2008), at the very beginning of the year, they suspected that their school, Woodlands Primary School (WDP in Singapore), is haunted. Kai and Sora have both encountered lots of ghosts in WDP, and decided to bring an end to this.

"We're doing this for the sake of the school," said Sora, leader of Power Pack. "If ghosts are haunting the students here in WDP will complain to their teachers/adults, and then they won't believe the children, and the children will be scared to death and commit suicide. As ghost-hunters and ghost-buster, it is not easy to gather information about ghosts and get rid of it. So, more ghosts just make us tired. Others may not commit suicide but will go crazy."

"So, we are doing all these not just for entertanment, but also for the sake of the world. More people committing suicide just because they got haunted; the human population will decrease rapidly," said Kai, assistant of Sora. "We are doing this for the sake of humankind." "We also want to make Singapore a happy and not-scary place for tourists," said Riku, also assistant of Sora. "If other people commit suicide, police will give up on their jobs to investigate and Singapore won't be safe. Then if people become crazy, they will go to Mental Hospital, giving Singapore a bad name."

The Power Pack have decided to investigate the whole of Singapore when they are older, and, if possible, Sora is thinking of investigating ghosts worldwide! "I don't mind other people calling me crazy for having this job," she said. "But I just want to give a little bit more freedom to the world (except for bad guys). Lesser work for police just gives them more time to investigate crimes, and lesser work for nurses and doctors at the Mental Hospital just gives them more time to create more effective medicines to cure those mental patients. I also want people to die and rest in peace."

Sora is still thinking of going to other countries to look for ghosts. "If I ever had the chance, I would go to the forest at the foot of Mount Fuji in Japan," she said. "But those are not only Power Pack's wishes; our No.1 wish is to be the best ghost-hunting and ghost-busting team in the world!"
